Sierra National Forest

This forest cabin sits on top of Sierra National Forest that features a creek, a forest trail down from the house takes you to forest mud road and the creek goes parallel to the same. Follow down below where you will see see 3 pump houses, walk further down to have the best summer experience in water. Also you can expect all kinds of birds, Red-tail Fox, Deers and Turkeys. The guests are free to explore the surrounding forest/area at their own responsibility and risk. Owner or the host will not be liable for any damages or injuries.

Please respect wildlife as much as you appreciate it. Drive slowly from the entrance gate till the driveway, enjoying the forest vista as you come towards the driveway.

Once you settle down, walk up to the top of the Cedar Dr Road and you will be able to see the peaks that are clad with snow until May. A little stroll down to Road 222 will take you to nearest grocery store and Boat park. Take a left on Rd 222 and you will reach bass lake area within 2 min. Take a right on Rd 222 visit the Bass Lake recreation area, continue on Rd 274 to visit the Marina. Boats are available to rent 9 AM to 3 PM.

Yosemite Fork / Highway 41 is only 3 min from the house, take a right and drive up 6-7 miles to Fish Camp, and 13 miles to reach Yosemite South Entrance. Take a left and drive 7 miles to Oakhurst city center where you will have all the restaurants, cinema hall, grocery stores, some of which are open till midnight. If you love dancing and music, we highly recommend to visit Snowline Restaurant that is towards Highway 41 only 3 min drive from the house.
